ORTHOKERATOLOGY (OK)
Is a programmed fitting of a series of contact lenses, over a period of weeks, to flatten the cornea and to reduce myopia.
Rigid-gas-permeable contact lenses are to be worn at night (otherwise known as Corneal Reshaping Therapy, CRT).
Soft disposable lenses can be used during the day at the beginning or any time of the program to gradually ease toward a lower or no prescription.
